Day One!

Today I had planned on doing salt dough ornaments with the girls but ended up forgetting to buy salt so we finger painted and did hand prints and foot prints on canvases!

We had a very hectic morning, towing two kids around town for 3 hours takes it out of you that's for sure! We went everywhere today, as I had to get the last of the stuff for Pebbles' birthday cake...taking a toddler into a cake store is HARD WORK!!!

So this afternoon, I relaxed whilst the girls napped and then once they were both awake we got to work creating masterpieces!

We used canvases purchased from Spotlight...considered getting a big one but decided to get small ones so that when they have grown they can either keep them and hang them in their own homes or at least they are small enough to keep myself!

I used proper finger painting paint, also purchased from Spotlight. Loved it, was quite cheap and will be buying more and more colours so that we can start mixing two colours together etc. and paint even prettier pictures!

Anyway, without further ado here are some photos!

Having a lovely lunch with Teddy!

Watching "How To Train Your Dragon" - her favourite movie!

Beginning to paint!

 Thoroughly enjoying herself!

Lots and lots of circles, her favourite thing to draw!

Our finished prints! Just have to label them now!

Lil Miss has rather large feet!

Clever Pebbles did such a good job!

It's not fun unless you get DIRTY!

All in all Pebbles had a blast, can't wait to increase our arts and crafts supply box and get into some more painting and creating!

My bible verse for the day:

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6
