So I am new to the blogging experience but find I always have plenty to go on about as many of my friends will probably confirm!

Began this blog mainly as a way of reclaiming some adult sanity throughout the day, or at least that is what I am telling myself. The likelihood is that the old saying of "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery." is ringing true; a close friend of mine (you know who you are) began a blog and I thought "What a great idea!".

So here I am wondering what my first post should be about. As I type my hubby has just left for his basketball game, something he has started doing in the last few months once a week. Some of his workmates formed a team and he joined to help his fitness. I haven't been to a game yet as they are all on quite late (and for me, that is anytime after 6 because that is the MAGICAL number at which I tuck my little miss into bed and have some peace and quiet!) but he seems to thoroughly enjoy it so will strive to get out and watch him play sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'm not sure what turns me off more, the image of Miss 18 months running full pelt onto the court in the middle of the game or the image of me waddling after her and quite possibly falling flat on my face. I have the sneaking suspicion that she would bounce a lot better than I would, children are resilient to no end. Pregnant women, not so much.

I think that will do it for my first post, I have plenty to accomplish tonight that does not involve sitting in front of a computer...however my little mind is already scheming about what to write about tomorrow!
